FRP (Fiber-Reinforced Polymer) cable brackets are structural supports fabricated from a composite material consisting of synthetic resin as a binder and glass fibers (along with their derivatives) as reinforcing agents. These brackets are suitable for cable-laying applications involving various cable cross-sections and exhibit excellent tensile and flexural strengths.

Structural Properties:
· The composite material—formed by using synthetic resin as a binder and glass fibers/products as reinforcement—is technically known as Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic. Due to its high strength—comparable to that of steel—it is commonly referred to as FRP (Fiber-Reinforced Polymer).
· Lightweight and High-Strength: The specific gravity of FRP ranges from only 1.4 to 2.0—meaning it is just one-quarter to one-sixth the weight of ordinary steel and approximately one-third lighter than aluminum—yet its mechanical strength can equal or even exceed that of ordinary carbon steel. For instance, certain epoxy and unsaturated polyester FRP composites possess tensile and flexural strengths exceeding 400 MPa; when calculated based on specific strength (strength-to-weight ratio), they reach or surpass the performance levels of certain specialized alloy steels.
· Excellent Chemical Corrosion Resistance: Unlike ordinary metals, FRP does not undergo electrochemical corrosion; it is non-conductive, and no ions dissolve from it when exposed to electrolyte solutions. Consequently, it demonstrates excellent chemical stability when exposed to the atmosphere, water, and media containing acids, alkalis, or salts of standard concentrations. It is particularly well-suited for environments involving strong non-oxidizing acids and a wide range of pH values. FRP offers an effective solution for handling media that even stainless steel struggles to withstand—such as hydrochloric acid, chlorine gas, carbon dioxide, dilute sulfuric acid, sodium hypochlorite, and sulfur dioxide.
· This product is manufactured via compression molding using Glass Fiber Bulk Molding Compound (BMC). This molding process is highly reliable in operation and is fully compatible with the requirements of automated and mechanized production, thereby improving working conditions and establishing a new pathway for the high-efficiency manufacturing of specialized polyester FRP products. The resulting products feature precise dimensions, smooth surfaces, standardized specifications, and consistent quality.
