Fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) piping is a lightweight, high-strength, and corrosion-resistant non-metallic piping system. It is manufactured by helically winding resin-impregnated glass fibers—layer by layer and in accordance with specific process requirements—onto a rotating mandrel, while simultaneously and uniformly embedding quartz sand between the fiber layers to form a sand-filled core. The pipe wall features a rational and advanced structural design that maximizes material efficiency; while fully satisfying the requisite operational strength, this design simultaneously enhances stiffness, thereby ensuring the product’s overall stability and reliability. Fiberglass sand-filled pipes have gained widespread acceptance among users due to their numerous advantages, including excellent chemical corrosion resistance, lightweight yet high-strength properties, resistance to scaling, strong seismic resilience, a longer service life compared to standard steel pipes, low overall lifecycle costs, rapid installation, and inherent safety and reliability.
FRP piping finds extensive application across various industries, including petroleum, chemical processing, and drainage systems. The production of FRP piping in my country has experienced rapid growth, with output volumes increasing year after year and its scope of application—as well as the sectors utilizing it—expanding continuously.
FRP pipes are manufactured using a specialized process that utilizes resin (specifically, food-grade resin for potable water transport), glass fibers, and quartz sand as primary raw materials.

Ten Common Classifications of FRP Piping:
1. FRP Desulfurization Pipes
2. FRP Sand-Filled Pipes
3. FRP Pressure Pipes
4. FRP Cable Protection Conduits
5. FRP Water Transmission Pipes
6. FRP Insulated Pipes
7. FRP Ventilation Ducts
8. FRP Sewage Pipes
9. FRP Jacking Pipes
10. FRP Static-Conductive Pipes
